Charles Chan K C is a practising barrister. He was Called to the Bar both in UK and HK in 1993. Charles gives legal opinions on contentious matters and litigates for clients. Charles also appears in courts, tribunals and appeal boards on commercial disputes, winding-up petitions, licensing, nuisance, personal injuries, probate and human rights. He has extensive legal, business, public policy and government background and experiences.
Charles is a Member of Gray’s Inn and an alumnus of New College, Oxford University. He is accredited mediator (HKMAAL) and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators.

In collaboration with the Hong Kong Legal Training Institute, Charles gives seminars to engineers, surveyors, and company directors on contract laws, intellectual property laws, tendering, and construction laws, not to mention in-house lectures to government department on land laws and to Hong Kong Monetary Authority on negotiation, mediation and arbitration. Further, Charles is a lecturer of the LLM (Corporate Law) Course with University of Greenwich, UK.
